• Standard Depth: Usually, 10 feet for general earthing but often extended to 80–100 feet in regions with dry upper soil to reach permanent moisture.
• Plate Earthing: Typically requires a pit 6 to 10 feet deep.
• Rod/Pipe Earthing: Generally, uses a vertical borehole 2–3 meters (approx. 7–10 feet) deep, though multiple rods may be needed to lower resistance.
