Base support

• Material Compatibility: Ensure the base and the conductor (copper or aluminum) do not cause galvanic corrosion with your tin roof. Use stainless steel or tinned components where necessary.
• Thermal Expansion: Non-penetrating supports allow the metal roof to expand and contract naturally without stressing the lightning protection system.
• Wind Resistance: If your area is prone to high winds, check if the rubber bases need additional ballast or adhesive to prevent them from shifting.
